Concept

Kids in Motion

The overall objective of sports overall concept Kids in Motion is the identification of motor and sports abilities of school children aged 9 to 11 years, in which take the children through the testing and comparison of ten different sports a responsible and conscious assessment of their sport that they are long-term, motivated and perform accordingly according to their inclination.

In its decision to be taken, the students are supported by a/an Diplom-Sportlehrer/-in, of/sports performs with them and by the innovative sports science research design expresses a recommendation for the appropriate sport. A targeted and sustainable continuation of the sport and the corresponding promotion of the pupil/student the building should take place in a sports club in the school setting.

Kids in Motion

The sports-concept consists of the performance of ten different team sports (football, handball, basketball, hockey) individual events (gymnastics, dance, athletics) and return games (tennis, table tennis, badminton). Eight hours are provided for each sport in which the children learn to build on each other teaching blocks the game idea, the crew, and individual tactical behavior, as well as sport-specific techniques in a fun way to know.

The expertise and the final recommendation to be operated Sport (s) based on an innovative research design, which leads to the following tests using criteria with an objectively and scientifically well-founded results:

  • Movement experience
    The "KiM–Sport Pass" captures data such as the basic movement experience, the frequency of athletic activities and the status of the size and weight of the child.
  • Motor sports (physical) performance
    A recognized sports science standardized motor test and measured whole-body coordination, speed, agility, explosive strength, muscular endurance, balance ability and aerobic endurance.
  • Enthusiasm/enjoyment of the game
    Since each sport in game idea, motorized/technical skills and tactical play behavior is different, every child evaluated after every hour of his personal sense of fun.
  • Movement quality/talent
    Since the entire sports program is carried out by a (further) qualified physical education teachers, the quality of motion using qualitative and quantitative assessment criteria can be assessed in any sport and be put in comparison with all other sports.
